Sofia is the EducationUSA Mentorship Program special coordinator. Sofia cares deeply about education and young people continuing to grow and learn. She is originally from Bulgaria, where she grew up in a family of actors, writers and artists. She graduated from Borough of Manhattan Community College (New York, NY), Brown University (B.A), Science Po (M.A) and Georgetown University (Masters in Foreign Policy and International Finance). She has worked as a consultant in Washington, DC. Now she lives in Indonesia with her husband and three daughters.

Frans Bona Simanjuntak
MBA, Experienced in Energy sector - Co-Founder of The Micro-Link Project
Frans is a business professional with high exposure in energy sector managing diverse roles including supply chain, import/export, and human resources. Hands on experience with the Energy Commission as a parliamentary aide. Starting last year, Frans has been part of Binus International's faculty, teaching International Financial Management and Entrepreneurship. Frans is the only Indonesian to ever win Hult Prize, an event under Clinton Global Initiative, which he won in the year 2012. After graduated from his MBA, Frans returned to Indonesia and currently developing social entrepreneurship business related to education and women empowerment.
Frans' personal interests include Finance, Human Resources, Social Entrepreneurship, Education, Music, and Swimming.

Melinda Wiria is a capital market professional, business consultant and university lecturer. She is currently working as an Account Executive for CIMB Securities and Managing Director for Sinergia Consulting. Starting last year, Melinda has been part of Binus International's faculty, teaching marketing and entrepreneurship. Prior to her current roles, Melinda had worked for more than seven years in the asset management industry, serving the roles of Institutional Sales and Marketing Communication at multinational asset managers.
Melinda earned her Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Melinda's personal interests include finance and investing, psychology, medicine, human resources, leadership, gastronomy, sales and marketing, entrepreneurship, education, mentoring and tennis.

Stevia Angesty works at McKinsey & Company and is currently on industry leave to pursue her passion in consumer goods and food products with Golden Agri-Resources. She obtained her M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University in 2012. She earned her B.S. (Hon) in Chemistry with dual minor in Business and Materials Science & Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2010, where she graduated as a Beck Scholar. Strategic Outreach Specialist for RTI
International development practitioner, specializing in high-level program management, policy influence, research uptake and evidence-informed policy-making, with expertise in Indonesia and broader South East Asia. Prior to joining RTI, worked as a journalist and editor for the Jakarta Globe covering education service delivery and designs for evidence-based policy programs. Zack is currently earning his a master’s degree from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and is a former Peace Corps Volunteer.

Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno is the co-founder of PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya and has been its President Director since 2004. He has led the investment firm to have a solid track record of profitable investments across key sectors of the Indonesian economy. Sandiaga also holds leadership positions at PT Adaro Energy, Tbk., PT Tri Wahana Universal and PT Saratoga Sentra Business. He is an elected member of the Indonesian Economic Committee and Chair of the Indonesia Forum Foundation.

Rossa received her undergraduate degree in the US, from Earlham College, Richmond, Indiana, where she studied International Studies and Politics. She has advised more than 600 students in the past 2 years with more than 100 have received acceptances to graduate and undergraduate programs in the US. Rossa will begin her graduate studies in Fall 2016 at Teachers College, Columbia University's Graduate School of Education, to study International Educational Development with their International and Intercultural Studies Department. 2015 will be her final year with EducationUSA. The best part about being an EducationUSA advisor is that she gets to hear the amazing dreams and goals of her students, and assist them to get there by giving advices about the right programs and universities in the US for them. Rossa enjoys reading essays, especially good ones, and she believes her specialty as an Advisor is in choosing universities, application completion, and admissions essay development.

Fina graduated from University of Maryland, College Park in 2011 where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, specializing in economic development. She was enrolled in a 2+2 University Transfer Pathway program from Green River Community College in Auburn, Washington State before transferring to UMD. Fina then started working for a U.S. – Indonesia higher education partnership at a DC-based NGO. She found an interest in connecting Indonesian students or university officials with the US side and vice versa. She recently joined EducationUSA @america as a deputy adviser and is very excited to be able not only to advise and help students achieving their dreams to study in the US but to share knowledge and experience on how studying in the US can broaden one’s horizons, especially when they return to Indonesia.
